WORK
Independent development for small product teams.
Over the last several years I worked embedded with product teams — most of them two to ten people — building the parts of their products that had to work. I have recently moved to working under my own name, and NodeBase is the first thing to come out of that.
What I do
Build. Small applications and internal tools, end to end — from a blank page to something a team actually uses.
Fix. The piece of a product that keeps breaking, or that nobody wants to own.
Unblock. Short engagements where one specific thing needs to ship and a long project would be the wrong shape.
Who I work with
Two-to-ten-person software teams. That size has a particular shape: there is no dedicated tooling person, decisions get made quickly, and someone still has to build the thing. Usually I am that someone.
How engagements start
A short conversation about what is not working. If it looks like a fit, we scope one small piece of work first — enough to judge the collaboration by, without asking anyone to commit to something long.
